Glen Ellyn Newcomers Club

Glen Ellyn Newcomers is a women’s social club that serves nearly 500 women and their families in Glen Ellyn and the surrounding communities. We welcome new and longtime residents of Glen Ellyn, anyone interested in meeting new people, having fun and/or getting more involved in the community we all call home.

CONNECTING PEOPLE

Newcomers enjoy a variety of monthly activities to suit varied interests in every stage of life, including Ladies Night Out, Cooking Club, Book Club, Tennis and so much more. We help members to form lifelong friendships by placing families and couples in supper clubs, as well as provide professional networking opportunities and a “Guys Night Out” group for husbands/significant others. Members have access to our closed Facebook page where we exchange recommendations for everything from babysitters to roofers and share relevant community information with the club membership.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Newcomers members are offered unique opportunities to give back to the community, such as involvement with the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry’s annual Celebration of Tables event, which Newcomers heavily sponsors, provides volunteers for and helps style tables for. We also have regular volunteer outings where members can help local charities with friends. Many local businesses support our organization through sponsorship and/ or offer perks and discounts exclusive to members.

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Newcomers host monthly Moms and Tots outings at local parks and attractions. Our annual Fall Football Fest and Breakfast with Santa are not to be missed, and everyone loves a chance to walk in the annual Glen Ellyn Independence Day parade. Couples can enjoy our annual themed gala, Supper Clubs, Game Night and Couples Night Out.
